Aloo is the English Indian name for potato and it is pronounced one syllabus lesser. Aloo is the starchy root-vegetables that we all like.

In Indian cuisines, Aloo is diced-cut and cooked with curry ingredients along with other spices.

Aloo is the most important fillings for masala dosa.

Without the delicious curry fillings, one simply eats the thin piece of pan-fried batter.
