Hyderabadi Mutton Paaya Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 mutton trotters (paaya), cleaned
- 2 large onions, finely sliced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)
- 6-8 cups water
- Salt to taste

Preparation Method:
1. Preparation of Mutton Paaya:
- Clean the mutton trotters thoroughly with water. It's essential to remove any hair and debris. You can also blanch them in boiling water for a few minutes to ensure theyβre clean.
2. Cooking the Paaya:
- In a large pressure cooker, heat the ghee over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and cook until they turn golden brown.
